Our international and NYSE Euronext Amsterdam listed client wants to strengthen the corporate F&A department in the Netherlands with a Finance Manager. As member of the corporate F&A department you are responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of the monthly consolidated financial statements. You will act as a sparing partner on financial accounting, reporting and business controlling for the worldwide F&A organization and spend approximately 25% of your time on corporate F&A projects. The Corporate Finance team consists of 4 young ambitious people who all report to you.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination of the month end closing process; 
• Verify compliancy with internal accounting guidelines;
• Setting up the consolidated financial statements;
• Improve the consolidation process and procedures;
• Maintain the administration for the participations and minority interests
• Play an important role in the set up of the annual accounts;
• Act as IFRS sparing partner for the F&A organization;
• Coordinate planning & control activitities 
• Assist in various F&A projects ie setting up KPI reporting, new system implementations etc
• Manage 4 people

Profile:

• Minimum a bachelor's degree in financial accounting
• At least 4 years of relevant working experience in an international organization or big4
• Good understanding of IFRS
• Excellent analytical skills
• Able to manage strict deadlines
• Fluent in English
• Affinity with IT
• Proactive attitude
• Can work independently
• Hands on mentality
